For this Naples project, we built and installed natural wood floating shelves with integrated lighting. The shelves wrap around the corner, creating three levels of display space with a warm glow beneath each shelf.

The shelves follow two adjoining walls, making use of the corner as one continuous display area. Their floating design keeps the wall visually open, while the wood adds warmth against the neutral background.

Three evenly spaced levels provide room for glassware, decorative objects, and everyday items.

Lighting beneath each shelf illuminates the wall and the space below. The warm light emphasizes the wood tones and gives the shelving a distinct presence even when the shelves are empty.

A remote control makes it easy to operate the lighting without reaching for a switch on the shelves.

“They made us shelves out of natural wood and installed built-in lighting that’s controlled by a remote.”
